Beautiful Antique Edwardian Waltham Ladies Wrist Watch Gold Filled Case and Band 1913 Runs Progressive Era Cam and Co Stretch Band
This watch is really a beautiful piece of history. I checked the serial number and it’s 1913. The watch is gold filled all the way around it is made by Waltham and the serial number is 19007981 the watch is an all-around, great physical condition. Please see photos and inspect carefully. The watch does run however, it probably needs a servicing because you have to want it every few hours to keep up with the time otherwise it runs slow but it does run as long as you keep winding it every couple hours. The watch band is really nice. It is a stretch link 14kt gold filled band it was made by what appears to be Cam and Co or Cam and Col. The watch is monogrammed, but it is difficult to make out the cursive letters. Please see photo the watch is pretty easy to takeoff and remove and put on. I will take a video showing how it works, it does not allow me to speak on video but you take the unattached end, pull back the link from the little hook and hook it onto the case, pretty easy but learning curve. I don’t see any major scratches or dents. There are some strange little whitish specks that almost appear like tiny specs or shadows, see the close-up photo they don’t affect the look of the watch or the wear of it. I’m sure that’s fairly common for the age of a watch.
